OPPI means “learning” in Finnish, and learning is at the heart of everything we do at Finnish Global Education Solutions (FGES), the provider of the OPPI Finland Global Schools affiliation programme and a member of the Finnish National Agency for Education. We work with schools across India through this network, bringing Finnish-inspired education and evidence-based teaching practices to schools in diverse cultural contexts. Through this partnership, we support schools in creating meaningful learning experiences that help every child grow academicaly, socialy, and emotionaly. As part of this colaboration, we provide leadership and teacher capacity building throughout the year, helping educators continuously develop their teaching practices and deepen their understanding of child-centred learning. Schools also receive curriculum materials, teaching resources, and practical guidance designed by educational experts in Finland. Our team works closely with school leaders and teachers, offering ongoing support, mentoring, and expert guidance to ensure that the approach is implemented thoughtfuly and sustainably in everyday school life. The goal of the OPPI approach is simple: to create learning environments where children build strong academic foundations while developing confidence, resilience, creativity, critical thinking, and the motivation and ability to learn throughout their lives.
